About the Event
Description: This workshop will introduce participants to the vision of utilizing robotics in the A/E/C industry. An offline robot programming software, RoBIM, will be introduced in the workshop. The participants will firstly how to program the industrial robot arm for a wall frame assembly and how to link the digital design tool (i.e. SketchUp) with the robot control. Through using the offline robot programming software, the participants will gain the basic knowledge of the implementation of robotics in the construction process, as well as get inspired to the future direction of construction.
